Tuesday morning, and I wake up as a resident of Park Slope, Brooklyn- livin the dream you might say. The brownstone houses are so fantastic out here, and I think I'd love one of these even more than an apartment in Manhattan.
I live in the building in the photo anyway, everything I need is pretty close by, including a gym, supermarket, pharmacy etc. The subway is about three minutes walk and it takes about 25 minutes to get to midtown Manhattan. My apartment is lovely and I'll be sad to leave it in a few weeks. Here's hoping I have a job by then so I can go look for a permanent residence!
I've joined the local gym in true Park Sloper style, and have located all the supermarkets nearby, including the one which supplies me with staples from home... such as Jaffa Cakes :)
