DMV fun in NY!

Well did I have F-U-N at the DMV yesterday... and today!!!!!!!!!

All seemed pretty normal until I gave my forms to the girl who asked 'where are your work papers', and I said well there's my visa, my papers are with the sponsor, so she handed it back to me with the usual 'foreigners are terrorists' attitude and told me to come back when I had the papers. So I was annoyed and retorted (quietly) that it should say on the website you need papers and walked away from the counter. So then I hear her say loudly 'I don't need to do nothin honey' and her sidekick at the desk beside her roars at me to come back so she can show me where it says you need the papers, so I keep going and she keeps shouting so I go back mainly so that the scene making will end... she points to a document (they were right) and I say 'ok' and leave!

So off I go back today and then there's an issue over my middle name being on some documents and not on others! As if I'm in control of that! After much chatter with a supervisor I'm allowed put in my application. Message here folks is middle names- not worth it so don't have one! LOL. End result my ID is on it's way... I hope!

Tomorrow is Canada time and bye to my beloved Manhattan for a week!
